"Location amazing, food average... pretty old school. My Ceaser had cold thigh chicken and store bought bottle dressing (assuming). Staff were lovely and the fire place was warm and roasting. Would go again for the scenery but would prob go for breakfast instead."

Eight of us went for breakfast and if you like eggs, there are plenty of choices but if you don't you'd be a bit stuck. Everything also seems to come with toast. Hard to find any reference to gluten free food which is disappointing. We had vegetarian omelette with mushrooms and spinach which cost $16, and I think cheese although this wasn't mentioned on the menu, others had a full breakfast and the proportions were significant. An average cafe with regards to the food and people serving, in a nice setting outdoors by a river with water lilies, and easy parking. Has great potential which hopefully will be realised. Not rushing back.

Loved the atmosphere and the various dining levels available worked well. Great looking out over the lily pond. Meals value for money - the beef hot pot was tasty but could have included more vegetables and watch presentation - gravy had sloped over the side of the dish - not a good look. More of a menu focus on avocados would be useful. I think the front desk service could be vamped up as a fairly mediocre welcome was evident. Table service was excellent. Overall a pleasant experience in pleasant surroundings.

Lovely spot on the river. Now licenced which is a bonus. Quieter during day especially if you just like a quiet visit for tea and cake or lunch.Weekends very busy. My complaint would relate to lack of supervision parents seem to think is acceptable and staff dont seem to have guidelines on how to ask parents to stop their kids running around. Lots of mums seem to take their kids when they are meeting friends as I would as it is such a lovely spot but it does spoil other peoples quest for a peacefull visit.

I was apprehensive after reading reviews but we found the food to be very tasty, large serves and reasonable price. We had the chicken burger, salads and lamb shanks.Staff were friendly and helped us take a family photo. Best place to sit is outside (weather permitting), they have a bar where you can get drinks as you need it. I am giving this 4 stars as I feel the reception entrance and inside cafe area needs to be refurbished. First impressions mean a lot and I think it would help their ratings. Reserva una mesa ahora

Ordered the special "vegetarian black bean and beetroot burger" for $24. When it arrived i quickly realised they are the same patties you can buy in coles or woolies, as were the sweet potato chips it came with. If your going to charge that much for a burger at least put a bit more effort in. Service was good and the ladies were friendly and helpful. Coffee was good. Some of the others that I was with had meals that looked decent.

Lovely venue and good service... However for a restaurant that is surrounded by avocados I would of expected more than two slices of avo on my salad ...... Also if you are going to call it pumpkin salad then you probably need more than 3 minuscule bits of pumpkin!!! Having said that the food wasn't too bad and was good value for money (lettuce could be fresher) this has the potential to be a great restaurant/ cafe ..

Group of 7 of us had Sunday lunch. Lamb shank very tough and inedible. They agreed and refunded. Wedges so greasy you could squeeze a good amount of oil out of each wedge. Very unpleasant. Sweet potato fries excellent though. Manager did not seem overly concerned or apologetic. Great venue very friendly wait staff but would think twice before returning.

Food was great, but surrounds needs work. It was a beautiful day, so we decided to eat outside, we were seated next to a wheelbarrow that had obviously been forgotten about. Leaves, duck poo, and generally untidy. Just needs attention to detail, and I would go back again. Lots of other eating places that take more care. Reserva una mesa ahora

The grounds are lovely. The food menu is varied and interesting. The food we had was very very good. We had the black bean and beetroot burger, a cheese and bacon cob and a delicious berry cheesecake. The coffees and chai latte were also very good. To top it off, the girls serving were lovely and friendly.
