We’ve had a few bad experiences here when they first opened but thought we would try again since we had coupons. Ordered and told the staff member about the coupons. We go up, give her the coupons, my bf pays for his, then pays for mine. She tells us we can’t use the coupons because we didn’t show them to her first…. Made no sense to me. So we requested a refund for both and would just go elsewhere as to us (people with lots of experience in the industry) didn’t make any sense since we told her when we ordered and also have her coupons first. They gave us the food anyways. Which was courteous of them. But the food was cold and gross. My fries didn’t seem cooked all they way of they had been...
The food at this restaurant is inconsistent, with more misses than hits. I received a burnt sausage and egg sandwich that was inedible, along with missing portions of my order and burgers that were also burnt. I recommend trying the location in Mount Pearl instead of this one. The excuses for the poor quality of food often revolve around new staff, but it is ultimately the responsibility of the seasoned staff to properly train them. Improvement is needed. Thankfully, there are other locations in Mount Pearl and CBS that are just a short drive away.
Food was great and service was good. Reason for 3 stars is that they don't offer free refills on fountain pop. Can't think of any other fast food restaurant that does this.
I've always loved the classic teen burger with a root beer in that big frosted mug and they have that here...epic! 5 stars

25 Mins in the Drive thru for 3 cars is pretty excessive. Good quality food, but just not worth the wait at this location.
A&W is the only fast food restaurant that I have experienced consistently good quality, service, and speed.
