Awang Kitchen - Reservar una mesa

We were not familiar with Indonesian cuisine but would like to give it a try, and our friends recommended us Awang Kitchen. It was so popular with no available tables when we picked up our orders on a Sunday night. Their options on the menu were various from authentic Indonesian dishes to sushi rolls. We had their Grilled Pompano Padang, Nasi Goreng Tek-tek Tek-tek Fried Rice, Ayam Goreng Kalasan (al) Coconut Marinated Fried Chicken and Gado-Gado Jakarta Mixed steamed vegetable to share with a group of four with a total of $55, which was amazingly reasonable price. We can tell the food was decently their tastes, but just not really our types. We love the fried rice and the sauce from the mix...

Minimalistic mix of space with the Indonesian traditional food that reminds me of how delicious Indonesian cuisine is. Recommended to come here with friends, large portion with affordable price. You won't lose money and get out with satisfaction. The food really came fast, they don't let me starve before I can enjoy my dish. The servers are nice and friendly for customers. Highlight of the day: The person who made the drink has done great work.

I run this place, the food was great, and the service was also great. The server was sooo friendly, fun and helpful! as a recently opened restaurant I had not expected the service was so good! I was actually hesitant to come first as I thought the restaurant could be busy, and things would be everywhere, but the staff suspected copied it really well! I'd like to come back next time and bring all my friends here! Go on!

This place is a new place, and so far the best Indonesian food in Elmhurst. The Genuine Taste of Indonesia from the hand of the talented cook Mr. Awang. I recommend this place to almost everyone I know.
