Awash Ethiopian Cuisine

This restaurant has been very popular with me for 4 years. Today we had guests coming out of town, so I suggested coming from here. We placed our order at 17:10 a.m. by phone and was told that it would wait about an hour as they had many orders and customers that were good and understandable for a Saturday night. We came to the restaurant after an hour, but it was said that our food would take some more time, about 35 minutes. That was all right again, because I was able to run a few charges and show my guests a little lancaster. I came back after 45 minutes or so and was told that my food was ready in 10 minutes. My experience is the same as all the other good reviews here. Excellent food. Great atmosphere. I went on a Friday night. The owner ran the front of house (and maybe back), and he was always available and welcoming. I never felt like there was a wait for anything we asked for. As someone that has run a restaurant, the service really is incredible. Whereas many restaurants would rush their last table out the door, he let us chat for another round of water. Very much appreciated.

I love Ethiopian food and was excited to introduce my foodie mat, so that we had a visit here. We have the vegetarian combination plate and it was amazing. We slept in and the atmosphere was okay. The staff was friendly.

Delicious, unique, amazing food and very relaxed atmosphere. There was no pressure to leave after our meal. The server even topped off our waters while we my friend and I were talking well after we were finished eating.

Great place to taste new flavors, I had the chance to be here twice with my Centra PA food group! we loved each item in the menu?! I'll be back.
