Grand Reopening on Pearl St. Bigger location in the Heart of downtown Metuchen. Great mix of baked goods and fusion Indonesian/ American food. Rendang tacos, Rendang burger, Nasi Goreng (Fried Rice) tasted great. Interesting fusion menu. Gonna try thesatay on my next visit. Baked goods: tried the croissant, ube crepe cake, and chocolate fudge cup. Tasted very good. Cakes arenot overly sweet, and the cake cream is very smooth light. They do custom cakes too for special events (wedding, graduations,birthdays, etc). Plenty of parking as there is street parking in the front and a metered parking lot behind therestaurant. Great addition to the growing Metuchen downtown.
I visited Awesomeyo's Kitchen about a month ago, and ever since, I’ve been returning every weekend. Their breakfast sandwich is truly delicious! I’m also a fan of the nasi goreng—a flavorful stir-fried rice dish. Barbara and Yolanda offer outstanding customer service and are attentive to our vegetarian preferences. I must also mention their pastries: the cupcakes, cookies, cheesecakes, and cake pops are all incredibly tasty and fresh. I’m already looking forward to ordering a birthday cake!
Visited Awesomeyo about a month ago and haven?t stop going every weekend. Their breakfast sandwich is so good. Love the nasi goreng stir fried rice, it?s full of flavors. Barbara and Yolanda provide great customer service and they accommodate ourvegetarian needs. Don?t get me started on their pastries: cupcakes, cookies, cheesecake and cake pops so yum! Everything ismade fresh and very flavorful. Can?t wait to order a birthday cake!
Amazing flavors, cool designs, and high quality service!! I?ve asked AwesomeYO to make birthday cakes for both of my kids for the past two years and each new cake outdoes the one before! I love the designs, so creative and well done! The cakes taste amazing and I received so many questions at the parties for who made the cakes! Awesomeyo's Kitchen offers a fantastic menu, and the nasi goreng was a standout dish! It packed incredible flavor and genuinely captured the essence of authentic Indonesian cuisine. I asked for it to be spicy, and it absolutely delivered—intensely flavorful and satisfying!
This place is amazing. The cakes and cookies are delicious and always fresh. I?ve been ordering from Yolanda for some years now and I?ve never been disappointed. Would highly recommend this place. Especially the Nutella doughnuts!
I ordered the tofu and rice dish today with a side of cucumber and pepper salad and let me tell you how delicious it was , just amazing. I will be back for sure. Thank you!
We ordered cupcakes from here for our daughters 2nd birthday and we asked for non dairy whipped cream. The cupcakes were some of the best we?ve ever had!
