This is a great little place. The food was good and really friendly staff. Elizabeth was our server and she was awesome. She recommended their home style fries that are made from fresh potatoes because they're her favorite. She stopped by our table and asked how everything was, we told her all was good but after looking at my wife's home style fries that were a little crispy, she had them bring some that were cooked nice and tender but not crispy. Extra special care about detail means a lot and they have that. It'll be our breakfast stop from now on when we are headed to the coast.
Wow, wow, wow, wow, wow! The chili rellenos are homemade and out of this world! The tortillas, both corn and flour are homemade. My brother in law said his street tacos were excellent and the borracho beans are the best that he has ever had. The parking lot is full at breakfast, so we are excited about trying it it out then. Two huge thumbs up! Hempstead is blessed to have Ayala’s Mexican Cafe!
This cozy little restaurant is a gem. The food was delicious. We ordered breakfast, including waffles and blueberry pancakes (although they could have used more blueberries). The scrambled eggs were perfectly cooked and fluffy, and the flour tortillas were excellent.
I loved Ayala's Cafe. My wife, infant son, and I are in town visiting my mother, and we all went to Ayala's for lunch. We were greeted with very warm and friendly staff, and the barbacoa street tacos I had were phenomenal. My wife loved the chimichanga

This is a cute, cozy spot to meet up for breakfast and/or lunch. The food is good, but the atmosphere and service are what really stands out. I met a friend here for breakfast; we'll be back soon!
Very friendly and honest staff. I accidentally left my bag of belongings there and they got them returned to me safely. The food was great overall a great experience. Would definitely recommend.
