My first visit to Azalea Asian restaurant. There was a very nice variety of options both traditional and non-traditional foods. A very nice mix of both hot and cold appetizers. They also had a nice set of soup options to choose from. I did not end up trying any this visit. The sushi options listed noted with a little pepper those that are the hottest. I tried the Cumbland Roll and the Godzilla roll. The Godzilla roll included the mashed spicy tuna with a nice eel and light sauce on top. However, I was really disappointed tonight, and felt it was important to share my experience regarding their poor customer service. I ordered the lemongrass chicken dinner without any vegetables but requested extra lemongrass sauce. When I called to confirm my order, the restaurant manager and chef informed me that I would have to pay extra for the sauce, and since I had already paid, they couldn't accommodate my request. I recently had lunch at this restaurant and was quite disappointed with my experience. I ordered General Tso's Shrimp but ended up receiving General Tso's Chicken instead. When I pointed this out to the waitress, she brought me a plate of soggy, lukewarm General Tso's Shrimp just five minutes later. Alongside it, I was served a side of very mushy fried rice that reminded me of potatoes, and chicken fingers that were at room temperature. Went for lunch and was served a horrible meal. I ordered the General Tso's Shrimp and received General Tso's Chicken instead. I told the waitress and then after just 5 minutes, was served a plate of soggy and warm (not hot) General Tso's Shrimp with verymushy Fried Rice and room temperature chicken fingers. The fried rice was almost like mashed potatoes. The food quality has goneway down!!!! I used to frequent this restaurant and for ?years? when it was known as ?Jackies Galaxy?. The manager appeared genuinely troubled by the situation, which honestly baffled me. It seems ridiculous that they tell me I can have something extra but then refuse to provide it. It's frustrating that they can't understand such basic logic.
