The Z is still ok by me. I liked it better before whatever city counsel Jack-of-no-trade took over. The nerve to call cops on me once for sitting in the parking lot consoling a friend right after a family member passed. Cops left us alone and the rookie was reigned in by Mrs. Officer. Larry, I think, was the politician/ new owner. He bought it hung around for a while then haven 't seen 'em. No loss there fer sure, but I lots of times just sit in the vehicle in the parking lot. My music and memories. Maybe I 'll go inside next time.

This place was my go to for over 20 years. It stayed the same for a long time. Drunk prices are great. Covid happened and some changes were made. The video poker machines are gone. No smoking inside now. And not loving the bad red paint job in the restrooms. But still a great bar.

The bartender was quite grumpy, which really put a damper on the experience. I came in looking to have a good time, but unfortunately, I left feeling down.
