Update They moved to East Meadow in a lot bigger venue and bigger tables. Free parking is available in the vicinity. I hope they will be successfully in the new location because it was pretty empty when were there at lunch time. Initial review I am so disappointed to see this place closed permanently at their Old Country Road location.. It's always a relaxing dinner with great food at reasonable price. I never had a babaganoush better than what they serve. Excellent service and they have parking.
They can?t have 1 person serve the entire dining room on Saturday night. Service is slow, orders are wrong, and the mood of the evening is gradually ruined. Came first time to Levittown location ..Ambiance is Good ..Server's hardly speak English..Hardly know about the Menu items ..Endup ordering Lamb Shank ..2 or 3 bites were amazing but meat in inner part of shank was all frozen...i showed to the Serverhe took it back without saying anything and bring the Check (forgot to take picture)

We live nearby so wanted to give it a try. It?s a good restaurant. We ordered Sambuse (appetizer) and a combination platter (entree). That platter is big enough for 4 people to share. The food, ambiance, and service, all was good but nothing spectacular.
We came here by chance because we bought in the mall. What a great surprise! Great food great service and a very nice decor inside. I would highly recommend
Service needs to be a little faster, otherwise friendly staff. Food was absolutely delicious.
The sauce is supreme, the eggplant is tender, and the meat is juicy. What more do you need?
