Azteca Mexican - Reservar una mesa

My wife and I decided to try lunch here and arrived just after noon to a mostly empty restaurant. We were seated quickly, received menus, a bowl of chips and a waiter took our orders for a couple of lunch combos fairly quickly. While waiting for our orders we noticed that the waitress delivering chips was very busy, but no food was being delivered to customers. We were offered a second bowl of chips but still no food delivered. After 45 minutes of waiting we decided to leave. We hadn’t visited Azteca’s in several years, won’t be going back.

Came for a late lunch but before the dinner rush so restaurant was practically empty. No hostess to seat people when we arrived so took a bit to be seated and for our waitress to acknowledge us took even longer for her to get us drinks. Didn 't see a changing table for kids in women 's restroom which is odd since alot of people i know call this place a family restaurant . Salsa that comes with the chips wasnt spicy or flavorful at all. And over all food was okay but nothing great was pretty bland for Mexican food.

Celebrated my birthday at Azteca restaurant and it was outstanding. Staff surprised me with singing Happy Birthday to me in Spanish and English and I got to wear a sombrero. The service was very quick and friendly. The food was authentic and tasty. I love the new restaurant location in Federal Way it is a lot bigger place on the inside than how it looks from the outside. Great design with lots of space. We will definitely be back again!

Very nice mexican decor inside. The mango margarita was very good, and so were the camarones blancos. Service was very slow, given that it was busy.

The food was fresh delicious the server was awesome the drinks were excellent
