We REALLY liked the appetizers like chilled noodle and eggplants hands down. So damn good. I can have these every day. Paella had such a strong conch flavour overpowering everything which I thought could've easily been swapped by shrimp? I'm just assuming they were testing out more innovative combos but really didn't work for me. Fried chicken tasted great but I think it was a wrong call by me, assuming their other dishes might have been more innovative and has flavour combinations that I've never tasted. The homemade kimchi was a nice touch and tasted great but I think I still prefer pairing fried chicken with sour and crispy veggies(pickled radish, coleslaw etc) to balance out the heavines...
I think people that haven?t tried Azyun before doesn?t realize that 1) they serve some dishes in slightly smaller portions 2) it?s best you go with a group of people to really enjoy the variety of the food on the menu eg: 6 people 3) yes, it costs a bit but it?s well thought out fusion food 4) so be prepared for the fabulous umami from the food. Also wanted to note, Our server was very accommodating and was right on with suggesting the food we ordered would be enough. Have we ordered that extra dish, it would?ve been in a take out box. I wanted to treat my friends for a unique dinner as a gift and list the help of Azyun to create a custom iron cook menu for us. My friend wanted university as the main ingredient and Azyun came with a six course menu. Would you recommend? new looking for something from the box and more personal than your usual fine food, as a custom iron cook menu experience is not available anywhere else, as I know. Prices are reasonable, depending on the ingredient.
Got the dinner for two. Dishes were really good but I would say it was slightly better prior to covid days. Fried chicken had an amazing crisp to it and truffle fried rice had the wok flavours. The eggplant was a tad too salty. Lighter seasoning overall on all the dishes would be perfect. Great, cozy atmosphere for anyone who wants to come by and have a nice, quiet meal and good convos.

We came to dinner and had the menu for 2. The edamame spring rolls, chilled noodle salad, spicy cabbage and cherry bell rice were our favorites. I also had a drink that they tried what was a turn on lemon balm that was delicious! The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. I would recommend making reservations as interior seats are limited. We will definitely come back!
Very delicious. Overall small/kozy environment. Ordered set menu for 2 and really enjoyed the cherry pig belly and beef tars. Mango drink was surprisingly frothy and creamy. There is also a VIP promo on Facebook/Messenger (as of August 2022) for offers
We decided to dine at this restaurant based on the positive reviews and ratings, as well as the intriguing concept of Asian cuisine on the menu. Additionally, they offered a set menu option which appealed to us.
The servers attention to detail in addition to the small and cozy ambience of Azyun really made the evening a memorable one, the truffle fried rice was my favourite the small portion should be plenty for 2
