I 've eaten Thai food all over the world and especially in Thailand obviously! I had no preconceptions of Baan Thai, I went there as I was visiting Kidderminster on business. The food was very, very good. It was fresh and delicious. It was clearly authentic and this point was borne out when our waitress told us that the chef was Thai and also that she was the owner! We had the three starters 'special ' and they added an extra free dish of tempura vegetables. For mains, we shared pad ka prow (cooked Thai style by request), pad thai and a prawn curry. They were all superb and portions were so generous we took lots home too!
One word Awfull,went to the buffet at £16 a head thinking it would be lovely after checking the reviews how wrong we were,I have been to numerous Thai restaurants over the years as it is my favourite cuisine this has to be the worst I have ever tasted NO authenticity as all!!! Shocking in fact. The food was no better than slop.If this is some people's first ever experience of so called Thai food then I can only suggest go somewhere else as this is not how the food should be at all, Thai food should be light and fresh with amazing delight of spices to be tasted. If I was to score this it would be a minus 10.
We were recommended Baan Thai and were not disappointed. It was a delightful experience from start to finish. The Thai red curry was the best I have ever had in any Thai restaurant, and the selection of gins and other drinks was plentiful. The service was excellent, with all the waitresses being lovely and friendly. They also offer takeaway options, which we will definitely consider for our next treat. This restaurant is truly the best we have tried in Kidderminster, and we are excited to come back again.
3 of us had Green Thai curry, even made milder, mine was hot hot hot! Mixed starter was good and plentiful. Ambience pleasant. Service was good, the one waitress was lovely, the other one did not quite fit with the style of restaurant. The only down side was having to leave at 9.30pm which we felt was a little too early for us as they were closing.

A group of four of us went to this restaurant and we all agreed that it was the best Thai food we had ever tasted. The dishes were clearly freshly cooked and the staff did a great job keeping us updated on our orders, which took a little longer than expected. Overall, we had a wonderful evening with very friendly staff.
Over new year the Baan Thai team had prepared a delicious buffet. Our choice was for a take away so we got to select about 16 different choices and the chefs even prepared a special rice for us. Delicious, good value, friendly and welcoming. First class.
Had a few meals here now and a few take a ways .. I can honestly say .. Amazing food every time .. lovely staff and super clean inside .. it’s became a firm favourite of mine and my husband’s ..
Visited this restaurant from out of town for dinner with a coworker. The food was excellent and the service was top-notch. We will definitely be returning next week.

Excellent food served quickly. Good value and also they sell ingredients. Great place. Friendly staff and nicely decorated.
Good food but slow. Tastes amazing though, well worth a visit to this Kidderminster restaurant to help local businesses
