I visited this place early on a Friday night for pizza and drinks. It was quite busy, with some people waiting around 6:30pm. Luckily, I arrived at 6pm and was seated right away, although it was the last table available. The space was a bit cramped, with the initial seating being at a tiny table that was uncomfortable. Fortunately, we were able to move to a normal-sized table, which made the experience much more pleasant. The wait staff were friendly, though a little slow due to the packed crowd. Overall, expect to wait a bit due to the busy atmosphere.
This hidden gem of a wine bar in Canberra's back alley is truly amazing. Open late and serving some of the most delicious wood-fired pizza in the ACT, paired with a wonderful selection of wines and a cozy, intimate atmosphere. It's the ideal spot for a date night or meeting up with a friend. A visit here is definitely recommended.
Oh yes this is pizza. Beautiful proofed fluffy crust. We attended the 5-6pm pizza in the back room and decided to have several glasses of nice Italian red wine. The waiter was amazing too and helped us choose wine we'd like. We will be back.
Great little hidden venue on Lonsdale Street! They have a lovely wine list, you really can’t go wrong. Attentive staff, and great cocktails. The food menu is simple but good for a light meal. Get in early because it fills up quickly.

Nice secluded wine bar off the hustle of Lonsdale St. Great wine selection. You can also get food through Italian and Sons, including cheese and meat plates; however, food is a bit pricey.
The pizzas are pretty good at this restaurant. They are even better during their happy hour from 5-7pm on Thursday to Saturday, where you can enjoy unlimited pizzas for just $40.
While I found the flavor and presentation of my dish (Duck Confit) to be exemplary, I have a couple issues with Italian and Sons:
