Where do I start! The 2 stars given was based on the 2 out of 4 dishes ordered being correct,and tasting good . With that said,this restaurant was such a big disappointment!!! I DO NOT KNOW WHERE TO START! Everything just makes me so happy. I would definitely make Baccaro my go to if I still live in Providence. You will not regret dining here whether it is with a couple of friends or with a large party. The service here isamazing. All the staffs are super friendly and accommodating. And the food omg. This was our second time dining at Bacaro; this time a party of four. The food was excellent and the cocktails were delicious. Having been a waiter and a restaurant general manager, I was surprised at the mediocre service and the short-pour drinks. Our server, Angelieu (sp? , never refilled our water glasses and we had to ask for her to do so several times. Though one of us was still eating his meal, she cleared the other 3 plates—service faux pas #2. All of us had martinis and after dinner drinks. Very nice evening. Food quite good, scallops seared well and the creamy corn in the dish was delicious! Reason for 4 stars is the drinks are VERY expensive and they are served in the smallest martini glass I've ever seen. Also they are not filled all the way, there was a good 1/2 inch left of the glass. If I'm paying $18 bucks for a cocktail, the size and presentation of the drink definitely matters.
First time here on recommendation from my daughter. Extremely different menu. Fresh pasta and items made to order. Waiter knowledgeable with menu and wines. We sat outside patio. Lovely atmosphere with water fountain and dining music. Perfect location for after dinner walk too. Staff very friendly.
Beautiful patio for the summer time Wonderful service, good food, wine list, appetizers and the restaurant staff were very nice.
Go to place for Meat/Cheese boards. Large selection on the Food menu Wine menu. Service is always great. Will definitely return.
