Back Porch Smokehouse

My husband and I are from SC and I looked up some restaurants in the vicinity with great reviews. We wanted to try some southern food. I found this place and it was wonderful! Great service and food! You have Lake Linville for a beautiful view outside. The owner was so kind and helped us chose our food. She even gave us some extra food to try. Some of the best BBQ sauce I have ever tasted and they homemade it! The food truly tasted homemade. Thank you so much for making our experience great! We will definitely be returning.

I loved this place. It is on the lake, so you can sit on the terrace and watch for birds, including eagles living nearby. The dining area is casual and the servers were friendly. I enjoyed my pulled pig and had made her home “tater salad” and baked beans. Everything was great. I also tried the banana pudding, which was also very good. Certainly it is worth the small way around Renfro Valley.

The food was great. The meat had a good smokey taste and was tender. It was cooked for perfection. The ribs could have been the best part of it. You're the best ribs I've ever got from a restaurant. The chicken pliers were also great. And let's finally talk about the Bbq sauce! It was sweet and delicious.

Some EXTREME Tasty BBQ. Hubby and I took 2 smokehouse plates home....we would have shared one, there was so much. We had lunch and another lunch. Better reheated the next day. Both types of sauces are also good. moved to the area and this will be a GO TO place we visited company

Friday night fish/shock platter is tasty and more than most could eat. Service was excellent. Angie was fast, efficient and delightful. Beautiful view of the lake!!
