we had so much luck staying directly opposite the bakery. we started each morning with the most sensational strudel, and everything else we try was also excellent. fresh and skillful. the last morning I brought a box of baked goods to go with me to Canada and my sister was so impressed by everything she tasted. a
It's a big call, but this modern Backerei delivered with a flaky treat that would be hard to top. The coffee was strong but not outstanding. Judging by the standard of the croissant the rest of the pastries were worth investigating on future visits; they...certainly looked tempting.
Love this bakery! Great breakfasts and their chocolate croissant is the best in Vienna...imho! Lovely service at Kaiserstrasse/Westbahnstrasse location. Believe they have 2 other well situated locations !
