Backfins Crabhouse

this place was recommended to me, thought I would give them a try tonight. I sat outside and got a menu. another dame was set after me, immediately a server came out to get her drink order. the mother who came and sat down. another server went to her table immediately to get her food order. No one came to my table or realized that I had not been served. not even 2 minutes pass and a third server went to her table to get her order (which was already given before.) nevertheless I did not receive a service, so I went back as my business did not want.

3. eat here. appetizers super. the main meal steamed plate terrible. over boiled by far. it happens. writing exam because many owners do not recognize at all. I'm sorry that what we can do to make this better. the waitress took some of the bill, the prices are marked over, so they have to ask price on everything else. if only waitress said that they have a good night. I'm not sorry for the inconvenience. would have been gone, but not now. customer relationships are not so good.

I have been looking for steamed blue crab in NC for a while. My husband is a Maryland boy and it has to be blue crab, steamed, with old bay(or similar). He gave it 4.5 stars but only because there was no Natty Boh. Very high praise, trust me. Our friends had the Crab cakes and creamy crab soup. They said they were excellent. And the hush puppies were just perfect. But as others have pointed out, they don't always have blue crab so you do have to call and prepay.

We stopped by for dinner tonight and everything was great! The food was the best seafood I’ve had in the greater Raleigh area and the staff was amazing, especially Vickie!

in wake forest on travel and found this restaurant. it was incredible eating. the dampened plate was amazing and her cream of crab soup was the best I ever had.
