We went when they opened at 12 on Saturday. For our first time it was a treat! We had the appetizer sampler plater and a 2 crab cake and 2 side combo between two people and it was the perfect amount of food with a good variety. The waitress was very helpful in explaining the differences to us non-crab-knoweldgeable people. Only thing was there were no prices on the menus, looks like they were there but penned over, which seemed very odd, and wished they opened at 11am not 12pm. They also have a huge to-go order following it seems.
3rd time eating here. Appetizers awesome. Main meal steamed plate terrible. Over cooked by far. It happens. Writing review because mangers owners didn’t acknowledge at all. No I’m sorry this happen what can we do to make this better. Waitress did take off some from the bill which prices are marked over so you have to ask price on everything which is different.When leaving only waitress said have a good night. Not a sorry for the inconvenience. Would have gone back but not now. Customer relations not so good.
We had the crabby melts and steamed oysters. They were okay..my issue was the prices were all hidden. The waitress told us the crabby melts were 9.99 but when we got our bill they were $12. She said the prices change due to market value, but if that is the case, they should print daily menus with the daily price so there is nothing hidden. I had to ask the price of everything, and I think our waitress was just making up prices.The prices need to be more transparent.
The food was great. The service not so much. Had to ask multiple times for napkins. Had to ask for the salad 2x because she didn't get it the 1st time. Almost canceled the order after waiting 20 minutes even tho the order had only been placed with the kitchen 11 minutes ago per the manager. Maybe she was a new server.
