This coffee shop is absolutely phenomenal! A very sweet couple runs it, and the coffee and matcha are top notch. They also have asian-flavour inspired madelaines and cookies with flavours like black sesame and hojicha and they are delicious. The place has AC for the hot summer days, with a lovely aesthetic inside because of the artwork for sale on the walls and the plants. It is suitable for people who want to do work on their laptops there, but also a great place for a chat with friends. They have deals on a drink and cookie for healthcare workers and students. At Background, they make flat whites that bring a sense of bliss, and hand brews whose taste is rich and airy. I enjoy their sesame cookies and sandos for both their flavor and texture. As for the ambience, everything here feels as if it has found its rightful place – maybe it’s the thought and care poured into every detail, or maybe it’s just talent.
