This restaurant offers the most reliable lunch special. You can choose from sushi, sashimi, salmon grilled set, udon, tempura, salad, and rolls. The price is currently $30, which is still a good value considering inflation. I have been a regular customer since the days of "식객" but haven't visited in a while. Now, they have a spacious location in Englewood, with improvements like the removal of the perennial Christmas lights, manga bookshelf, and soju cups and glasses on the table. The COVID partitions are also gone, making the atmosphere cleaner and brighter, although some finishing touches are still needed.
Rarely do I give 5-star reviews, but this restaurant deserves it. Though it is on the pricey side, the food is incredibly fresh and unlike anything I have ever tasted before. They serve sashimi that you wouldn't typically find at a traditional Japanese sushi restaurant. The fluke and founders sashimi may be tough, but when prepared properly, it has a satisfying crunch. Additionally, the meal comes with a variety of delicious side dishes that will fill you up before your main course arrives. This is the best sashimi I have ever had, and if I lived closer, I would definitely be a regular customer.
The atmosphere and food were great. Friendly service and food tasted good at the time. Fast forward next day, my entire family got sick... dizzy, vomiting, diarrhea, and etc.... maybe we just got a bad batch but I will not return after getting this.Update:The staff reached out swiftly and was very concerned about how we got sick. Allinall very friendly staff who truly are concerned for its customers. I still won't return since I just don't feel comfortable going to a restraunt my family got sick at but I would still recommend to others. Almost certain we just got a bad batch. Unlucky I suppose.

Didn’t know this is mostly set menu place but lucky they let us order entrees separately so we did. Their sashimi was one of the most fresh sashimi I ever had. The fish was so fresh it melts in your mouse. The eel sushi was good too. One is the best I ever had. We will definitely come back here again. It’s so worth it and you won’t it else where.
I had the pleasure of visiting this place for the first time. They have safety dividers for each table. And all staff were masks.We ordered one of the sashimi platter and it came with additional sashimi plate and bunch of ski dashi we couldn't finish. Service was good and attentive. Love the experience. I definitely recommend.
wow.... I've been craving for it... and it was so lovely to have it. The sashimi was so fresh and melting in my mouth. Other side dishes were decent too. I highly recommend these places!!
This is the perfect spot for sushi lovers. The sushi rice is delicately soft in texture and pairs perfectly with thinly sliced, fresh and tender fish. Absolutely exquisite.

Had lunch sushi meal and It was great. Top quality sushi and seafoods. It is fresh and delicious. They serve you with fresh wasabi!!
