I checked out the bakery today despite all the bad reviews and I can confirm the reviews. A grumpy old lady and the bakery seems a bit tired. I ordered a butter pretzel and a chocolate croissant. The lady suddenly took the croissant out from under the counter. Afterwards I also know why. I got one from the day before, but I'm too far gone now. Never again.

The customer service is terrible! Everyone can have a bad day but that's not it. I shop here regularly because there is no other bakery nearby. And they are always unfriendly. The rolls and desserts are delicious, but stay away from the pretzels. Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: €1–10 Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2

It was my first time here and I can't confirm the negative reviews the donuts could have been a little fresher, but it was also a Sunday afternoon after 4 p.m. The selection is otherwise good and the lady at the counter is very friendly! Very good homemade cakes. An absolute insider tip for Gern. The ambience doesn't exactly invite you to linger, but that's what it's for enough alternatives in the area. Service: Take out Meal type: Other Price per person: €1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3

I don't understand the bad reviews. We were served very nicely and super quickly. There was a lot of choice of cakes and everything was absolutely delicious. The prices are also appropriate. It is homely and very clean in the café.

Good cake that I was not able to enjoy because it fell in the street while I was having breakfast, I was not allowed to sit down even though I was traveling and a foreigner. The reason still remains unclear.

Double price will be charged. Very unfriendly old woman at the checkout. The goods are not even entered into the system, but rather flat amounts. Please take care! Customers are being ripped off here.
