This restaurant is very popular with the locals. If you are looking for traditional Swiss food and atmosphere, without crowds of tourists, this is the place. The veal cordon bleu was excellent, as was the rest of the meal.

Baren is a very very hold place 4 km outside of Luzern. Every time I go to Luzern I MUST take a trip to Rothenburg just to eat the fantastic Cordon Bleu and admire the fatastic Mountain view of this little town.

Sehr angenehmes und heimeliges Restaurant. Sehr gutes Cordon-Bleu mit leckeren Pommes. Freundliche zuvorkommende Bedienung, die auf alle Wünsche eingeht. Den Bären kann ich nur weiterempfehlen!
