a good restaurant, located at bahnhofstrasse, just in the corner with bärengasse, thus in the heart of zurich commercial area.the meat was excellent and the term was addequate. the aside plates and the sauces were very good as well. the service was corteous and efficient.the summer terrasse is nice (but nothing from naother planet) and the inside room is cosy, but the tables are too close (20 cm separation only) despite the prices paid are quite high, near 100 sfr per person without wine even for this area of zurich. these two reasons -specially the small space between tables- made the value for money bad and that's why i give only 3* in this review.may be i return, but not the first place i...

The meat of Bärengasse is undoubtedly goodIs it exceptionally good ? Is it extraordinarily well cooked ?Is there any originality in the overall cuisine ?Is there anything awesome (sauces, fries, service...) ?No, no, no, no.Nothing you could do by yourself, buying a good meat and cooking it on your grill at home.But the prices are for sure extremely high. Add to that a highly crowded place which does not facilitate discussions...all in all, a place in which you do not feel that you really ger quality for money spent. Much better alternatives (e.g. August) exist in Zürich.

Nette Bedienung. Wir konnten bei schönstem Wetter draussen essen. Der Buffalo mozarella als Vorspeise war fantastisch auch das Kalbfleisch Tartar kam bei meinem Mann sehr gut an. Da ich kein Fleisch esse bestellte ich die Ravioli Tartufo mit feinem Rahmschaum, sehr lecker. Das Fleisch der anderen war genau auf die bestellt Garstufe gegart und geschmacklich sehr gut. Der Espresso kam lauwarm worauf mir ein 2. offeriert wurde der etwas wärmer war.

a tasty bite to sit outside on a balmy maiabend. very pleasant waiter. brot was beautiful and fresh the avocado, and goat cheese starters were very attractive and delicious. all steaks melt in the mouth." the grilled avocado side... was excellent, the kartoffel and other beside dishes were all hot and generous in size. none of us could manage a desert. excellent evening from beginning to end. Vom Service bis zum Essen einfach excellent. Man kann wirklich nichts bemängeln. Der Service war sehr zuvorkommend. Am Geburtstag meines Sohnes haben sie eine tolle Überraschung für ihn bereit gehalten. Er hatte sichtlich Freude.Die Qualität des Essens sowie die Zubereitung und Präsentation übertrifft die Erwartungen, und die sind als gel. Köchin doch kritischer, hi hi hi.

Der Service ist aufmerksam und flink. Die gemischte Fleischplatte von genialer Qualität. Die ausgesuchten Weiss und Rotweine von Dieter Meier ein Gedicht. Die Beilagen dürften ein bisschen grösser ausfallen. Aber alles in allem ein perfekter Abend. Das ganze nicht ganz billig aber wirklich jeden bezahlten Franken wert. Wir waren bestimmt nicht das letzte Mal hier.

This place is very centrally located, right next to Paradeplatz and Bahnhofstrasse. Staff is friendly but seemed rather stressed. If you can opt to sit outside when its warm enough, i would recommend to do so. Inside gets a bit noisy. Dishes are nicely prepared...and yummy but a little pricey.

Ev. waren die Erwartungen etwas zu hoch. Das Fleisch ist sicher recht (und auch recht teuer). Nur eine ähnliche, wenn nicht sogar bessere Qualität zu einem vernünftiger Preis, lässt sich auch in einem anderen Restaurant finden. Ev. nicht in Zürich. Der Service ist zuvorkommend und angenehm. Wir sind hier gekommen durch die Empfehlung eins Freunds. Es lohnt sich es zu besuchen. Sehr gutes Service mit leckeres Essen!
