Bahitossa - Reservar una mesa

Another delight after meeting our new granddaughter was our day-trip from Girona to town of Tossa de Mar.the drive was about an hour east to the eastern Med. Fine day, large beach, a medieval castle at one end of beach. this was a perfect setting after we selected from many options:The Restaurant Bahia. Favorite dish: grilled sardines. Next favorite: small octopus. an entree of bread with smashed tomato and garlic was yummy. The side dishes of salad and vegetables were delicious. We chose a wine but asked a question. After a sniff and rolling taste the master immediately replaced with a new bottle of a superior wine. We 3 ate well for Euros 77. We explored possible rentals for inevitable future trips.a lovely town, not too busy in our best season.Oct-Nov.

From the very beginning, the staff were extremely mean and we (5 friends) felt like we were being watched constantly. We were told to order “more”, because it’s “a restaurant”. When we ordered, the staff were standing beside our table, talking to us and staring at us. It was like this the entire time. We are students, so maybe they thought we would steal from them, but it got to the point where it was unbearable. We all felt extremely stressed out and so, so uncomfortable. When I made a remark about it as we were about to leave, one of the staff just looked at me and went away. The food wasn’t anything special either. So not worth it. It was terrible and I would never like to experience anything like that in my life ever again.

To say this restaurant has “vegetarian and vegan options” is an absolute lie. We were seated after having asked if there were vegetarian options, to which the waiter said yes. I asked if the vegetable paella could be made for one, as there were no vegetarian mains on the menu and the waitress laughed in my face saying “that’s your problem”. We left, and had a wonderful meal with great service at restaurant Capri, next door.

I went with my friend to celebrate my 1 year as a mom and I couldn’t be happier about this place, everything was perfect! The foods the drinks and the personal so nice, they make me feel so happy and so especial! Thank you a lot Eugenia for everything, you really make my vacations better! For sure I will come back

Friendly staff, same menu as 90% of Toss, ordered lam was to mutch cooked, paella was ok , think they need a new chef, most of the food was overcooked, but friendly staff but sadly the staff and history lf the place cant be enough, after all its the food experience we want
