I recently had the pleasure of dining at Bain BBQ, and it was an incredible experience! Let’s talk about the food. The smoked brisket was absolutely mouthwatering, tender, and packed with flavor. I also tried the ribs, which were fall-off-the-bone delicious and had just the right amount of sweetness. The homemade barbecue sauce was the perfect finishing touch! The sides were equally impressive. The mac and cheese was creamy and rich, while the coleslaw added a nice crunch and freshness to the meal. Came in to get two smash burgers, basket of fries, half rack of ribs, and queso. Now the queso is where I had my issue. My bf has come in MULTIPLE times within the past month and gotten the QUESO ONLY. I asked for it today and was told they don't sell it that way. If this is policy then the entire staff should know because it's being sold just as queso. When I started to tell them it's been done before the blonde girl threw up her hands with an attitude and said I'll just do it. Proceeded to give me a half full bowl of queso and charged me $10 for it. I asked for it to be filled little more and was charged again! So yea. Food was great. Family ordered the Mac and Cheese .. Ribs.. Pork Sandwich.. Pork Nachos. Will definitely be back. Only thing I didn’t like was the nachos but other than that everything was perfect. I hate they don’t offer samples so you could know the taste of meat or sides your ordering. But the food I took a chance on ordering was very good besides the nachos.
This is the best BBQ we have had so far in Memphis! We came during the Cooper-Young festival and the wait was pretty short! We got the Memphian and Sloppy Yunt sandwich and both were amazing. Also we got 1 Texas Twinkie which was pretty good too and the mango pina colada! The building itself was very nice and the bathroom was awesome!
