First time here and this place is DELICIOUS! I stopped by bc I was craving Mac n cheese boy oh boy, this DID NOT DISAPPOINT! It hit the spot and satisfied my craving! I basically just order a full side and spinach and feta pie. As a pescatarian my options were limited so the only other thing available was a curry veggie pie and fries( I think). Maybe I got the wrong thing. Sausage Rice and collard greens was not it. Disclaimer- my wife brought this home so I wouldn’t have even ordered that. She said it came with mac cheese, but they switched it to collard greens. They mentioned they could cook them right now for her which is a sign. No collard greens should be cooked on the spot. Lol at least not the southern country collard greens but they may make them their way which is not favorable to me. They were chewy greens. The rice is nothing special, it’s just rice folks. A delicious, unique South African food stall in The Works food hall. I've never had South African food before, so I was excited to try something new. I ordered the Sosaties plate, which included two grilled lamb skewers on a bed of seasoned rice, Mac and cheese, and some pickled vegetables. Everything was seasoned to perfection! I loved how they infused sweet and savory with dried apricots and raisins. I also ordered a side of French Fries and a South African canned iced tea, both equally as delicious. The Baked Kitchen is located in the Chattahoochee works food hall. It is South African cuisine. This was my first time having anything from there and I was quite surprised. I have the chicken peri peri skewers. This dish was very exquisite with a little bit of spice. I urge you to try this place as well as others within the food hall. I have provided pictures for your viewing pleasure. The cost is a little pricey but it is inside Atlanta.
The sosaties here are absolutely amazing! I order them nearly every time I visit. The lamb is incredibly juicy and tender, and the apricot BBQ sauce is the perfect blend of tangy and sweet. I've never had mac and cheese as good as this before. Don't miss the Peru Peri fries either; they're definitely worth trying! You'll find yourself coming back to Chattahoochee Food Works time and time again.
I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! The service was outstanding and full of enthusiasm, and the food was delicious. I particularly enjoyed the blend of flavors. Although I'm not usually a fan of mac and cheese, their version was exceptional—combining South African and Southern US styles.

Friendly service. Reason for 2 stars is value. Got the Peri Dawg which was very small for $18. Also served in a normal hotdog bun instead of the roll in the picture.
This was our first time trying South African food and it did not disappoint! We will for sure be back for the salad and lamb skewer plate.
