Made reservations two weeks ahead, I got a confirmation phone call from the restaurant a couple of days before, yet on the day of, I got a phone call from the restaurant stating that they were booked and they had to seat us at the lounge. Needless to say I was extremely upset, it was my good friends Bday and wanted to make it special for her, but it started pretty bad. I went here with a friend for the dineLA dinner special because I’ve had numerous pleasant dining experiences here in the past. Tonight the service from our waiter was subpar. He seemed distracted, hard to “find” and inattentive. His busboy and another delightful server, Miles, saved the experience for us. The kitchen and bar also seemed a bit off, with things being nicely presented, but tasting “just ok”. The setting was lovely, as always. Great spot I never knew about despite living in the area for years. Food was quality and large portions. Great ambiance overlooking the boats in marina with live music in background. Birthday meal was awesome. Service was slow, but we were in no hurry and enjoying, so didn't mind so much.
we love this place on the 4th july after a cycling tour to lunch. our server was so helpful. we have made a envelope of ice for one of our injured drivers. they love the chopped salate and the cornmeal pancakes (yes a strange combo). the white sangria was perfect and a plentiful glass.

this is the perfect place to relax and relax with a glass of wine or two. we enjoyed the outdoor terrace for the afternoon with relaxing ambiente and a beautiful, soothing view of the marina. the service was excellent and the charcuterie plate delicious.
Taking advantage of Dine LA to try out Baleen Kitchen for the first time. We were not disappointed. Everything was great, food, service and ambiance. It will be one of our favorite places from now on.
I didn’t get the table I requested, and the service was exceptionally slow. I had to try to get the server’s attention a number of times. Food as always was exceptional!!
Our server recommended the chicken and I never order chicken when out to eat. It was amazing. Best chicken ever. I would definately have it again.

Our server I think Tony was so nice and helpful, beef strogonoff could have had a little more sauce. Overall fabulous.
The food is so so but the views of the Marina is wonderful.
