The meals here are quite simple but they are simply delicious. Tender charcoal cooked spiced meats with traditional rice, garden salad crispy afghan bread. Everything is made in house and at a very reasonable price. There were some new faces behind the counter at...our last visit but not much has changed, the rice was a little different (still awesome), the meat seemed slightly spicier but there is a cooling yogurt dip now. I've been to a few Afghan/kebab places in the area and if you're looking for a delicious, simple meal at low cost then this is the place to choose.

cyndi and fab aside, a no-nonsense, more unpretentious kebab, if anything you need is food. living eds from culinary luxury kills my epicurial enthusiasm for this great broth, meat, salat not. do not make any mistakes, the workers are only there to serve large coal cooked foods. from the back I have seen how the baker holds huge flat brote on the wall of the huge dome oven. superb. they pay bugs all and leave satiated in the words of the comic book type best. kebab. always.

While driving back from Paynesville yesterday, we stopped at Afghan Charcoal Kebab in Dadenong. It is a small Afghani eatery on Thomas Street. The food is freshly cooked including the famous afghan breads. We enjoyed the mix kebab platter and Chicken kebabs. The kebabs were...prepared without the onions and masala, typical of Indian Kebabs and the roti was soft and very tasty. We really enjoyed our meal.

I visited this restaurant today for a meal and was blown away by how incredible it was! The food was delicious and healthy, and the portion size for $13 was huge. The meal could easily be shared between two people. I was tempted to devour the entire thing, but within 20-30 minutes, I felt satisfied and not overly full. Wow, the food is tasty! Meats are flavoursome, the Afghan bread is addictive, and combined with a salad and rice, we always leave happy (and full)! We eat here regularly as the food is so good. The decor and setting is no-frills, but it's essentially...fast food Afghan style, not a fine dining restaurant. We love it here! Do try!

This food is truly addictive. Dandenong is minutes by train from Melbourne. However, whenever I go to Melbourne for work or holiday I stop at Afghan Charcoal Kebab for a quick meal. I recommend the mix kebab platter. Once you eat it you are...hooked. Enjoy!!!

Most of the reviews are positive, but I am quite disappointed because we drove for an hour to eat Afghan charcoal kebab and the address mentioned online was incorrect. We were unable to find the food we were looking for.

a little creepy and dirty. service is not good. but if u r are looking for great meal then come and have it tasted for real asian coal kebab.
