I had a great experience at this restaurant! The pizza was amazing and I highly recommend trying the huge pizza. It's a fun option to bring to a party. As someone who loves pizza, I truly enjoyed the taste of their pie. The restaurant has interesting sports memorabilia for you to check out while you wait, showing the passion and family-run nature of the business. I have been a fan of this place for a while, even when they were at their old location. The new location has been remodeled with a nice personal touch, giving off an upper-casual atmosphere similar to a hipster dive bar. This place changed hands and has gone way down hill. The only reason they got 2 stars is because the delivery guy was really nice. The chicken parm I ordered was burnt...very burnt. They gave a side order of garlic knots that were so hard they were inedible. One bite attempt and it was obvious someone tried to heat them in the microwave. The folks that answer the phone are not knowledgeable or friendly. When you order in person no one knows how to ring the order up, what food items they have and how to make change. It's obvious there are staffing issues just from the backroom conversations that were easily overheard. It's sad...this place used to be awesome.now it's just awful.
So... call to order dinner, get hung up on twice by some girl who was yelling 'Why would you do that? ' at a co-worker... called back a 3rd time, started to place order... ordered 2 lg pizzas with extra toppings and was gonna order appetizers after ordering a burger... I ask for the lettuce, tomato and onion to be put on the side (warm and mushy veggies on a burger EEW) and the nasty girl gave me an attitude telling me 'Um, no, we can 't put that on the side '... I asked again, stating that I thought was odd and she said again with an attitude that they don 't do that ... WAY TO GO BALSAMO 'S... YA JUST LOST BUSINESS OVER A SIDE OF LETTUCE TOMATO AND ONION!!!
*Covid update* Here 's the thing. You gotta let this flaming hot goodness sit a few before you dig into this bad boy. I ordered well done because I like a good crisp. This doesn 't disappoint. Sauce has a nice subtle tang, and the cheese is on point. The pizza is bigger than the box, and that 's always a plus. Slightest bit of grease, which I love. Crust is tasty, and crisp, even with delivery. Only downfall is a slight flop in the middle, because of how thin this pizza is. Reserva una mesa ahora
I ordered a chicken Parmesan sandwich tonight. I brought it home and started eating right away, but the chicken was burnt. Very burnt. The entire sandwich was overcooked and tough to chew. It seems like the cook must have noticed, unless they cook with their eyes closed. I was quite disappointed that it ended up in my sandwich instead of being thrown away. It was also prepared very quickly. I would have preferred to wait for something that was actually edible.
I have ordered delivery from this restaurant many times. Today, the order was incorrect. I called to request a replacement, but was told to bring the item in for them to make another one. The whole point of delivery is to avoid going in person. I ended up hanging up after being put on hold five times and being repeatedly told that there was no mistake made. I will not be ordering from them again. Finished.
