kl. restaurant in the middle of brühl, dining offer reads like fine French. kitchen- behind it hides itself however very simple and tasteless spears, description often nods correctly (instead of an announced lemongras simple lemon.) as well as the direction of the iron-silver bell above it, which does not fit on the plate, dirty pointed decks in the bread basket, gambley room plants next to the table. in the space itself ugly tight. the prices are in order for what is offered and the service is friendly. the 3-course for 2 on Wednesday is often strange and inferior in the compilation, at the price no wonder! at the walk down the stairs to the toilet prefer not to take a look into the kitchen...
we had received a voucher for a "Candle Light Dinner by jochen schweizer" and redeemed it here. the waiter was friendly, attentive and striving. the food: to greet from the kitchen (each a small cup of spicy sauce and herbal cream) there were 5 small slices of badly baked baking baguette (outside still white, internally sticky). the kohlrabi completely softly boiled, the late zle dry - not made itself, presumably cooked long before and then reheated. the three beetroots as dessert came from the quality to be judged from the low-priced sortiment of a consumer market. an open (!) carafe with table water was billed with € 4.90. the bottle imperial chair wein for € 19,- was in order.
we spent two nights here. the rooms are in another building. our room was very beautiful, modern spacious. in the summer the beautiful private terrace is surely a plus and invites you to stay with a glass of wine before bed.We booked the breakfast offered in front of location. it was in order, but nothing special. because it was cheap, there is nothing to complain. Unfortunately we were too four on a much too small table (my man sat practically in the flowers), which made the inherently cozy spatialities somewhat annoying. nothing was relocated, although this was announced by the waiter, because he could not put everything on the table. but we've still gotten tired.
we were more often than a few with a good-study book to breakfast or dinner. positiw: great ambiente and fine operation. Unfortunately, the kitchen cannot stop at all here. the evening usually only moderate. at breakfast you get aldi rolls from the machines, that's what it says. we must therefore, unfortunately, give the commentary "more appearance than be".
