We received a very warm welcome. During our dinner we were advised by Marina in an excellent way: her English was amazing and instead of pushing us to order more she kindly advised how big the portions are so that it would be better to share. We had the shrimp with advocado salad (I was in heaven), the fish croquettes (pure and quite a suprise with additionel flavours) and the grilled pork (de-li-ci-ous). This is by far our best experience in Motril yet! The staff, the place, the music, the view, the food: everything is in place! We willen return! One advise when you visit it: bring cash with you for the tip!
I'm from Sligo in Ireland. I went to Motril in the south of Spain to visit my good friend Susana Lasa. I have known her for nearly forty years. She took me to the restaurant Bambu beach. It's a new restaurant in the area. We started off with very nice tapas. Then we had tuna for main course and it was delicious. The wine was excellent too. The service was quick and the owner Lorenzo was very friendly and chatted with us. It wasn't expensive either. I highly recommend this restaurant. Philip Lyons

Finally motril has a perfect restaurant on the beach with the feel of the French Riverra the food was outstanding I have never seen or tasted food like this in motril in the last 5 years and living in marbella I have a large selection of establishments to taste from . We stumbled across this beach restaurant while exploring the Granada coastline. We had the obligatory sardines and prawns on a stick cooked over a bbq coupled with a beautifully tasty caprese salad. The food was very good and our waitress was very attentive, spoke some English and was keen to learn more from us. A fun experience with good food.
