Arriving at the restaurant, I planned to just order takeout but was pleasantly surprised to find that there was seating available as well. I ordered three spring rolls and Red Curry with Chicken, expecting a typical wait time. To my surprise, the service was quick and efficient, with my order ready in less than 10 minutes. The spring rolls were larger than usual, hot, fresh, and perfectly cooked. The Red Curry had a great balance of flavors and heat, with the chicken tasting marinated and not bland at all. Bangkok 96 has changed their business mode a bit since the pandemic. They were takeout only for a while, but now it's operating more as a counter service restaurant to accommodate those who want to dine in as well as their many takeout customers. I was pleased to find that they still offer a fabulous birthday discount. If you show your ID on your birthday, you can get one entree free with purchase of another entree. We tried the pud Thai and the fried rice. Both were delicious and plentiful. I also ordered a side of peanut sauce and received a generous portion. While this is not the best Thai in the area flavorwise in my opinion, it is very reliable.

Cooked fresh and hard to beat. Nice and Savory dishes, so know that anything you order dine-in or to go will be a treat. Love this place!! Covid really did a number, tho! I remember the big fish tank and sitting down and getting the whole Thai experience. But the memories are nice too! And the food did not change at all!!! It's still really, really good!!! You can go in and sit, but it's more like dine in carry out now. Which is still pretty nice!
