We came here for our daughters birthday dinner. The food was nice although the crispy duck that I had was crispy but bland with a sauce that didn't really match it. I tried some of the other dishes on our table and they were nice. One order on the table was brought out incorrectly and when that was pointed out the waitress took it away and brought back the correct dish but did not seem very happy. This was the only downer of the night.
Lets face it, no restaurant in the far northern suburbs of Adelaide is gonna be a Michelin star winner. But sometimes behind the plastic table clothes, strings of fairy lights and offer of 'kids eat free', you do find a chef that is passionate about his food. It's not the most creative meals like Heston, not the most authentic like Kwong, but you will always get a delicious well cooked meal here, or my name isn't Matt Preston.
Called in to Bangkok Kitchen because the new Thai restaurant started by friends we wanted to visit nearby was closed. Best idea ever. Both entrees of S&P soft shell crab and Lucky Baskets were generous in size delicious and both main meals the same. Extensive menu and drinks were a reasonable price. Pleasant decor and great service. We didn't want to leave. Our new local Thai favourite for sure.
This is the best Thai restaurant I've eaten at. Food is always superb and the service is always fast and friendly. It has a relaxed and warm atmosphere and is also well priced. Friendly service and great food!. I have ordered takeaway from here a couple of times. The meals are always on time, the staff are very friendly and best of all the food is delicious, all the dishes i've tried have had a really nice flavour and well balanced. This is easily the best asian restaurant in the North East.
Have been going here for a number of years and because we travelled overseas much of 2016, had not had food from The Bangkok Kitchen in Golden Grove. Had take away for my husband's Birthday tonight - absolutely delicious! Even better than we remembered and huge serves! Will certainly be ordering again soon!
I ordered the Sizzling Sweet Chilli Chicken & the Crispy Chicken. I was very impressed, very delicious. The restaurant itself is such a beautiful place, the staff are very friendly and helpful.
