I used to come here with my family but that stop after a employee yelled at my mom and I for somehow saying the wrong order. Take into consideration that I have come here multiple times before and I know what to order and what I like to eat. When the middle age lady yelled at my mom and blamed us for her mistake, my perspective of this restaurant changed. Not only did she blame us but she tried to get her manager to kicks us out and charge us for something we didn't order. Let's start with the #13 egg sandwich that is pretty freaking tasty. I don't know how big it is but it's huge! Make sure it's on baguette. Next favorite thing is the teas that are in the bucket next to the register. Raspberry, passion fruit and lemon 2for 5$ is a tasty deal get extra cause you'll regret not grabbing more! Egg rolls are crispy, savory and yummy you'll need a sack of them! All the pre packaged meals are freaking delicious. The shrimp spring rolls and peanut sauce is a good choice for a summer snack. Stopped by here for milk tea after attending the Monterey Park Cherry Blossom festival. Food at the festival was atrociously expensive as expected. BMC, at least this location no longer has a minimum charge for credit cards which is good because I did not have cash on me. BOGO is still available for selected drinks and price is now $6 but still cheaper than most boba shops. No complaints on the boba Thai tea or pudding milk tea while I'd have preferred it to be half as sweet. However someone took my drink order by mistake, luckily they came back immediately when they realized it was the wrong order.
This place used to be very good value however recently it has gone all the way down in both value and quality! This food in the photo used to cost around $2.49 then $3.49 and now they charge $6! Worst yet besides the price, the white rice wrap used to have minced meat and veggies stuffing but now they're just plain white noodles! This is just gouging! ! They are also charging around $4.50 for a boba drink! Everybody should just refuse to eat a place that charge you so much with no value!
Great tasting beef pho; the broth was delicious. The BBQ pork banh mi was also scrumptious, although the red colouring was quite bright. The sandwich came wrapped and in a plastic bag, so if you can’t finish it, you can easily take it away. Lots of ready-made items out on display. Decent prices for our meal.The restaurant is very casual. Sit down wherever you want. The tables could be bussed more quickly and cleaned better. Our table had crumbs and oil stains.
