We had a wonderful afternoon at The Bank yesterday for my daughter's hen party! Nothing was too much trouble for them. They accommodated around 30 people in the afternoon, and all the food was excellent. The icing on the cake was how they went the extra mile for one of the guests with food allergies, ensuring options were available. Everything was homemade and absolutely delicious! A huge thank you to the staff for their outstanding service and the delicious food!
Booked at really short notice for two children’s Christmas platters and they were amazing. They’d warned me that some of the things might be missing but when we arrived they’d even been out to buy the items they were short of. The staff were lovely and helpful and the platters were fantastic, great value. Nice to see some fruit on there, ingeniously disguised. Would definitely recommend. I took a two and three year old but plenty of food for older ones.
The afternoon tea deal for my older child was fantastic. We also tried the amazing homemade chips, which were a real highlight. The younger one enjoyed a nice little game too. I made a reservation in advance since I was coming in by train, and they set aside the perfect table for us. The staff was attentive and came promptly to take our order. I highly recommend this place, and I will definitely be returning!
my new favourite place called for a breakfast a few weeks ago and I'm totally addicted to the place : excellent service with a smile and nothing is too much trouble, I had a wonderful afternoon tea with my daughters and grandchildren today and I'm blown away by what we got for the price. Today, the staff seemed a bit overwhelmed as they were trying to manage a large party, but they kept us informed while we placed our order. Although we weren't in a rush, they updated us every five minutes. The food was excellent, and the portions were quite generous. We believe we've found a new spot to add to our list!
