a rainy Saturday evening in the mornings and we were in all the restaurants that can be reached from our hotel in harras to foot. we took the subway 3 station to goethestraße and went several blocks high in a counter where it is very unlikely that there are any restaurants. but there it was. banyan. the restaurant, not the tree. after a week in Germany and Austria we needed an alternative food. we have chosen banyan, a North Vietnamese restaurant. we arrived without reservation and it was told that they were booked for the evening. they were so nice to allow my wife and me to stay. we ordered rippchen that were excellent. followed two types of rolls. everything was fresh and very tasty. I can recommend banyan warmestly if they are looking for a Vietnamese restaurant in Munich.
Das Lokal hat eine nette Patina bekommen, heute Abend stimmte das Wetter und der nette Hof war aufgesperrt. Die Küche wie gehabt : super gschmackiges Viet Namesisches Essen. Daß die Auswahl an Deutschen Weinen hier attraktiver ist als in gewissen Lokalen in Koblenz, wo die Mosel in den Rhein fließt, ehrt das Banyan. Total charmante und professionelle Bedienung, sehr bald wieder !
Gleichbleibend gute Qualität im Restaurant BANYAN seit Jahren. Immer wieder gut sind die Summer Rolls zum selber rollen aber auch die Ente mit Pok choi Gemüse, Knoblauch und Soja Sauce ist sehr gut. Dazu besonders leckere Cocktails. Immer wieder ein gelungener Abend.

Ein freundlicher Gastraum, in dem wir einen guten Lunch bekamen. Freilich auch mit etwas Conveniencefood , dafür aber schnell und preiswert. Aber Achtung beim Dinner ist die Preisgestaltung gänzlich anders hier wird es teuer.
Beautiful ambiance and delicious food walking distance from our hotel. What a great find! They got a good variety of authentic Vietnamese food along with great service as well. We will definitely come back here again.
Schönes Ambiente außen im Hof und sehr freundlicher Service. Essen 08/15 und sehr Convenience lastig. Schien nicht hausgemacht auch die Soßen nicht.
