The Bar Belge in suburban Maisons-Alfort is a mecca for beer-lovers in Paris who want to have a meal with their ale: 316 beers--300 in bottles and 16 on tap.I attended the July monthly meeting of the Amis de la Bière, which was held at the Bar Belge. A friend of mine got us there for a dinner. The service was very rude and not welcoming. Their beers card is quite impressive, you can find a lot of different drinks for every taste (probably the only strenght of this place), however the cost of this choice has a price since the beverages are very expensive. When it comes to eat we've ordered 3 different flammekueches which were all bad and not fine at all, which is a shame for such place where s many beers might have fitted well with such dishes.
