We went here the last couple of years on their fish and chips night but this year it was packed. We had to wait an hour for our food but it was worth our wait.The manager of the restaurant made sure everyone was ok he even when the fish and chip van ran out was busy making sure cooking food for people.The deserts again exceptional as well as the hosts they must have been shattered Athens of evening
We return here every time we are in France ,every month.The couple who own bar go out of their way to accommodate you.You can always rely on them to be open when they say ,which is not always the case everywhere.Great place to meet local French people and you will find many English people who use this place to meet up to socialise.We would certainly feel lost without it.
A classic car enthusiasts' group visits regularly with fish and chips as the excuse and always find the bar friendly, helpful, extremely pro-active (three is always something happening) with very good food. Not sure about the big room at the back of the bar: acoustics not great but usable. Recommended - but get there early. Is is busy!
We went here for fish and chips have been last couple of years great on both ocassions. very warm welcome. simple but very provided map. warmed but good quality dishes in a nice little country bistro. the bonus: the salad of fresh products served with dishes directly in a salad bowl and not in the plate, we feel like we're home. Serves at any time.
Nice bar/restaurant just off the main square in Champniers with free parking outside. Called in to watch the football and the friendly (English) owner gave us a table in a good position to see the screen. The food was very good and extremely reasonably priced,
the only bar of france (and maybe of the world) or 7 people can't get used 6 drinks!!!!! that a person who is sitting down can eat nothing when the other 6 take a tea or a coffee is not eligible anywhere to say the waitress insisting!We have therefore fled.
Love this restaurant eat here often always open apart from Thursday. Food is simple home cooked and always fresh and delicious. Jeane and Ian are superb hosts and nothing is too much trouble. Reserva una mesa ahora
I had lunch recently at the Bar Les Tilleuls which I thoroughly enjoyed. I had the kebab and frites which I can recommend. Service was very good and it was very reasonably priced
