Bar du Palais - Reservar una mesa

Situated in the quiet back streets of what was the fortified town of Domfront, the Bar restaurant is surrounded by some of the oldest buildings in the town. Regardless of people passing by the outside area is a lovely place to sit. In side is a friendly bar with a wide variety of drinks on offer, and an excellent choice of food is offered at good prices. Do remember the french lunch time is 12 to 2 there is always room but if you want to be quiet do avoid this time. Car parking nearby is available but not plentiful there are however 8 disabled bays if you have a badge. This bar is within easy walking distance of the castle and the open area around the Mayors offices, this is a perfect place to get great photographs of the surrounding countryside at any time of the year.There are a few nice shops nearby and an english speaking chemist.

Arrived late for Lunch, we were told we serve in French time not "English". Great banter (Brexit), good fun! Food good value and very tasty, I had Croquet Monsieur, a traditional snack, but very tasty and the best I have had. We will return and hopefully more good food and good humoured banter. Thank you!

Having been turned away by another establishment for being too late for lunch the chef agreed to serve us and we enjoyed a great croque Monsieur and salad here. Nice place to sit outside in the square. Good service. Great option in Domfront.

Great little soirée at this lovely bar. Great place to sit and a very pleasant glass of wine. Didn't stop to eat on this occasion but will return as snacky type meals looked good.

We enjoyed a freshly made sandwich and beer here. Very helpful and pleasant and the food arrived speedily.
