the intercontinental düsseldorf is a great 5-star hotel. super centrally located on the famous kö, you can explore the city from here very well. the intercontinental valley is also very good for concrete and conferences. the rooms are very large and beautifully decorated. Above all, they are super isolated, so they don't get much of the other guests. I also found the breakfast buffet that offers a rich selection of everything that can expect in a hotel of this class. unfortunately not cheap, but these are 5-star hotels in general.
Service is extremlly slow. Staff was very friendly but one night waited well over an hour for drinks that never came. I asked 3 times and they said they would be out shortly, finally just told them never mind. It was a Suturday night and they were busy, think they need additional staff. the intercontinental hotel is located on the shopping street of the royal hall, just 5 minutes from the old city. the service of the hotel is excellent. they are greeted at each walk along the recipe friendly. the rooms are large and very nicely furnished. the breakfast is delicious and also here the service very accommodating.
