Bar Frances - Reserva de mesa

I have dined at this restaurant twice recently and it was excellent. It was not crowded and they accept reservations. The food is delicious. However, I have one constructive criticism for the restaurant. The bread used for the grilled cheese and avocado toast, although tasty, was extremely hard. I struggled to cut the avocado toast and biting into it hurt my teeth. The restaurant should consider using softer bread for these dishes, as well as anything else that requires it. Overall, aside from this issue, everything else was great.

I have eaten there twice recently and it was very good. Not crowded. They take reservations. The food is very good. I would have one constructive criticism for the restaurant. The bread for the grilled cheese and the bread for the avocado toast while delicious is way too rock hard. I could not cut the avocado toast and taking a bite it literally hurt my teeth. You need do you softer bread for the grilled cheese and the avocado toast and probably anything else that’s used in a dish like that. Other than that it was great

The restaurant was not crowded at all, and that surprised me. But the food and the service were good. The menu is limited. I wanted to substitute fresh fruit instead of a green salad with my omelet and they were not able to accommodate that request. You do have to appreciate a small kitchen that chooses to so what they do well instead of offering a bunch of substitutions. Bar Frances is a really neat place on Freret!

Everything was great except for my meal. Twice Our waitress was excellent my wife lived her meal my son loved his. The appetizers were wonderful but my hamburger that I had asked to be cooked medium came out basically raw not rare but raw. So our waitress said she would have kitchen cook me a new one which the did but this one was worse. I don’t get it. It’s a burger. Reserva una mesa ahora

Everything was great. The burger is to die for and the service was super. I have been recommending it to people since we went. The gnocchi and the mushroom tapenade were also fabulous!

Neighborhood gem. Best menu I could find in the area and the food lived up to the descriptions. Went back the next night to try something else.
