Bar Pilar is a narrow bar with an upstairs dining room. We ate downstairs in the bar. It's a bar, so was a little noisy, but were still able to have a nice conversation. Service was excellent. The food was fantastic, both in presentation and how it tasted. We had the roasted vegetables, butter chicken and a dumpling appetizer all wonderful. The cocktails were tasty and had enough alcohol in them to justify the price. I don't think you can go wrong eating here unless you are looking for someplace really quiet. I never went upstairs.
Service was wonderful, and food was great. The music was on kind of loud for brunch upstairs, and then a loud table sat behind us so it was even harder to hear. That was our only complaint. Every staff person was very friendly and competent. Our party of 3 enjoyed the French toast supremo dish with fruit, eggs, potatoes, biscuit, and greens. The fruits and greens were beautifully fresh and tasty, and the biscuit was especially good.
The bartender was extremely friendly and personable. I was a bit puzzled as to why we were unable to order from their cocktail menu. It's not a major issue, but I just wanted to mention it.
I came here with friends and was able to sample lots of the dishes. favorites were Morel Mushrooms, Lamb Belly Bolognese Gnocchi, Halibut Ceviche. Service was friendly and on point.

Bar pilar. We had a great time. The atmosphere was great. The Margaritas were great. The staff was great. And the BRISKET TACOS WERE GREAT!

The food was fine but nothing interesting. Overpriced for what it was and the space upstairs was very hot little circulation
Really kind service and great food. This is such a cute and cozy space with a great staff! The cheesecake is amazing.
