Oof, whatever you decide to eat in La Palud, don 't order pastas here. Or just don 't go here. Overcooked pasta with...no ingredients. Gnocchi alla pesto for E18,00 was...a bowl of overcooked !! Gnocchi with pesto from a can, judging by the puddle of oil. With nothing else. Production cost: E1,00. I repeat: E18,00. The waitress was friendly but only managed to produce sorry after I quite gently told her it was disappointing, while in reality this is simply...robbery. Edit: Thanks for your reply. I appreciate doing your best to get the freshest food out there and I enjoyed the Taggiasca olives. However, I 've had and made numerous pestos but never have I seen a 1-2cm deep pool of oil left in a bowl, plus it was too salty to taste fresh. I repeat: the Gnocchi was soggy and overcooked, my penne was also overcooked and just dull in general. I know cooking comes with pride, but critique brings you forward.

We wanted to have lunch at this place and had checked the Google reviews. So we wanted to try their pizzas, As soon as we arrived, we noticed that there were very few people in the restaurant, but that didn't stop us. We opted for 2 4-cheese pizzas, but these were too greasy and the dough too thin to support the cream and cheeses. Result, we could not finish our pizzas and our lunch left us on the stomach. For my part, I leave this restaurant I ordered the lavender menu, the starter, the main course and the dessert were simply delicious. The waitress is smiling and professional. Impeccable value for money. Will go back as I'm on vacation all week in the area. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

On vacation in La Palud sur Verdon, we were recommended this restaurant and it was a nice surprise We enjoyed the lasagna dish and the tiramisu. The waitress is very very friendly. Excellent value for money. I recommend this little restaurant Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Original recipes, the lavender gorgonzola risotto is top, the pizzas are hearty and so good.....an address to recommend after a nice walk in the gorges..... Service: Dine in Price per person: €20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
