I'll make us Omlettes for lunch I said. I know a place where they do the best Omlettes in the area said my French son-in-law, so off we went to the Bar du Lac. He was right. The Omlettes were superb and the relaxed atmosphere in this cosy establishment is very welcoming. Off the beaten track,so you probably need a local to send you there. The owner is an Anglophile and a smart mini was parked outside with Union Jack seats.and cushions! Worth seeking out.

Le Berthoud est un delice, l omelette aux girolles une tuerie. En dessert des glaces car il faisait chaud. Nous avons mangé en terrasse c était très agréable. Nous y retournerons sans hésiter.
