Bar Restaurante El Sevillano

We eat here last night and experienced the worst meal I’ve ever had in Nerja and possibly anywhere. I had the salmon, which was very overcooked, but not difficult as it was also very thin and flat, in a tasteless bright yellow sauce, with 3 small overcooked baby potatoes and a small mound of sloppy vegetables. My husband a ‘rare’ steak, which didn’t have any pink to be seen on it and came with the same accompaniments. Have to admit we just paid and left, without tipping obviously, but didn’t complain as they really didn’t seem that interested — only keen to get the next mugs in!

We managed to get a table and ordered tapas but didn't receive any they forgot about us when the waiter realised he brought us two tapas we didn't order microwaved and only cooked at one side . Tried to order some more with drinks second time we received them but again not cooked . Good bar good atmosphere but go else where for tapas there's lots better places not so full of tourists where they treat you better

Located right in the heart of Nerja, this bar offers a great deal on tapas and drinks. We had two drinks and four tapas for 12 euros. Traditional Spanish bar with no frills but a good experience for lunch in the sunshine.

Very friendly staff and good food .Very reasonable. Great for light lunch especially if you stay at the Riu Monica.
