Bar Restaurante Playa Chica

On our day off from hiking, we found ourselves hungry around 8 pm. Just off the beach of Puerto Naos the terrace of Playa Chica was filled, with tourists and locals. A lovely location with a great view of the sea crashing on the beach and rock. Unfortunately but understandably, you have to call ahead for the paella. We ordered a fried sole and some marinated cod. The fresh fishes were tasteful, the portion size was good. The side of fries and Canary potatoes were alright. We would definitely return to try the paella. The staff was friendly as well, even though their English wasn't all that great.

Excellent setting for enjoying all the lovely fish dishes la Palma has to offer. The standard menu has great choices but if you ask you can lookin the fridge and pick out the catch of the day. Fish soup is really delicious with lots of clams prawns etc. The staff are really helpful and friendly and it’s very easy to loose a couple of hours relaxing and enjoying the view.

While I agree the food is good, we had a long wait from ordering until service. It was one hour. By this time the evening had been spoiled. The starter was fine but fish course then arrived before we finished the starter as they were obviously on catch up. What a shame. It could have been a good evening but spoiled by lack of care.

Nice place, facing the beach of Puerto de Naos. Calm location in a corner. Food was very good and prices very correct. Tables for 4 a little small though. Tables

Truly excellent seafood! Great venue and lovely service. An absolute must! Puerto Naos is spoilt for choice but this place is a must
