Yes it's been that long since we last came. A stones throw from a lovely beach and despite having the monopoly this restaurant doesn't disappoint. We called in during a busy summers day when there were only tables available inside, we weren't put off as we received a warm welcome and very attentive service. The four of us ordered a variety of meals from Moules and Frites to good old Steak. The food arrived piping hot and was well cooked and presented; portions were generous too. In fact in the case of the moules, there were so many my companion had to admit defeat and left around 18 if not more. My steak was just divine and melted in my mouth. Please do pay them a visit, they really do deser...
The family who own Le Grand Large make you feel so welcome. We as a family have been eating here for over 25 years and it is our first point of call on arrival!The food is very good. Their Moules marienaire is to die for, and the home made Sangria will blow your head off, you must try it! Not a posh resturant at all, but very welcoming to all, especially families and good vaue for money. The view from the terrace is outstanding - the best situated restuarant in the area...Highly Recommend this place!
We visited here 3 times on our holiday ( lunch time and evening) as the service and food were excellent. The children tried Calamar and couldn't get enough of them and all of the moules dishes we tried were by far the best we have ever tasted. The Croque Monsieurs were good and the poulet dishes were delicious too. Very friendly and welcoming, definitely worth a visit!

However, the moules were amazing!Very expensive for what you get. Rude service.Sometimes it's best to remember something fondly rather than return!

Ate here three times - twice for dinner and once for lunch. First class service and food - although the portions were on the generous side making it difficult to finish a meal. Staff were very friendly and it was nice to be remembered when we revisited. Will recommend this to anyone who is visiting Carnac.
Three of us called in for a beer and were greeted very friendly..... Sat outside and had the most fantastic view of the beach and watched the tide coming in...best spot to enjoy a beer. Never ate here. Would visit again for drinks
Imagine walking off the beach straight across to the bar/restaurant. We found this place by chance and went back many times over the holiday. They serve the best moules here of anywhere we've tried in France. A must have.

If visiting Trinite or Carnac PLEASE visit , the food is good, ambience superb with a fabulous view across the bay , the owners work from dawn to dusk to satisfy locals and visitors alike. You will not be disappointed!
We visited this restaurant three times because it was so good. The service is outstanding as is the food. Their moules et frites are excellent!
