we visited bar soba edinburgh for the first time in a dae. we were really looking forward to the lighter and umbungo cocktails. they did not disappoint and were as good as we remembered. the menu, as it is the case today, was on a qr...code and included food. we are growing increasingly peckish (probably due to cocktails), so we ordered some snacks. when the waiter handed them over, he said very “snappily” if they want to eat, I have to move them down! our point was if you don’t want to eat up, why then make the complete menu available on the qr code?! next one of the party had recently had an operation back and occasionally it had to get up. again another employee came by and said when they...
The online ordering service for food wasn’t working. After a lot of waiting, being told it should be working again(it wasn’t) we eventually got our order taken from the girl nearly minutes in nearly half of our allotted time slot. The food was...really nice when it arrived. The drinks were slow we could see them sitting on the bar for about mins before they were brought to us. Really disappointed with this Bar Soba as I’ve been to ones in Glasgow which were fab.
Visited Bar Soba as have been and enjoyed a couple of years ago…it has went very downhill. Food was seriously dissapointing, actually shocking that they would serve some of it. Chicken pad Thai rubbery and buttermilk chicken burger (pictured) barely resembled chicken. Sent back and...the new order that came was just as bad. Cocktails were good but that’s about it. Would strongly recommend avoiding
We've been here a few times and the experience is usually decent, however this time we were told to go downstairs where we hadn't been before. Completely different vibe, nasty, sticky table, poor service and completely overcooked chicken. Could barely get through it with my...knife. We don't like causing a fuss so we didn't complain at the time, won't be back.

the personal was so nice! they could not do anything anymore! eating wasamazing drink was amazing and so polite and gave us great recommendations for night out! nathan and becka and callum were great contributors! they deserve a massive boost.
I didn't want to write any criticism, but so many emails ask me! we are from the lunch menu, except the waiter beat a tiny change to an order that more than doubled the price of one of our meal times without this.
