Great place to hang out in the sun (and shade), have a kir, beer, pastis, or vin, and watch the world go by. Very laid-back, very inexpensive, and not at all touristy. Definitely a local hangout, and a nice change from the overrun spots on the Place de l'Horloge.

stunning little cafe/bar/tabac with a small menu and just full of chatty locals - Avignon without the touristsPlenty of restaurant choice with 30 seconds so its a lovely pre meal / after meal way to extend the evening!Probaly superb during the EUROS too !!
