I fall even more in love with this restaurant every time I go. There is nothing on the menu that isn't amazing... Things that I normally don't like from other restaurants, such as octopus, I could not get enough of at Baran's. They cooked it so perfectly that I want to tell the chefs from every other restaurant I've been to to learn from them? everyone I've taken there is blown away by how amazing it is. Baran's 2239 is always a special treat for us. The food is excellent and the menu is updated frequently with delicious new items. We had a few of our usuals this trip (focaccia bread, half chicken, maple apple salad) and we tried the Blue crab spaghetti. It was excellent, with just enough crab to make it interesting, but not overly fishy (my wife isn't a fish person) but the serrano peppers made it so tasty. Just a wonderful meal altogether! Jason and his team know how to make things enjoyable with friendly, attentive service and advice on dishes and wine selection.
Excellent restaurant! They totally deserve Michelin Bib Gourmand. Hope they get a start. The food is excellent!! My husband and I shared the sashimi appetizer, octopus and gnocchi. The sashimi was amazing with delicious sauce and peaches. octopus was as good as what we had in Spain. Delicious Gnocchi with corn. We totally recommend Baran's!!!
We love coming to Baran's 2239. We often go on Thursdays after a long work week and are treated like friends. They are generous and gracious. The food is delicious and change the selection seasonally. Great atmosphere and the waitstaff is always wonderful. They also have a nice wine selection.

We were celebrating our 28th wedding anniversary at Baran 's after just returning from 2+ weeks in Switzerland and France, including Lyon, the culinary capital of France. As we told our server, our Baran 's meal was by far better than any meal we had while traveling.
the munu is constantly evolving! eating at at the B is casual but 5 star! new eine, new tastes all dolidcsnd understated... always fun to take friends there for first time and watch their faces as they enjoy our little jewel here in Hermosa.
WOW!! Last night was our first time dining in at Baran's 2239 and we will be back!! Everything we ate was outstanding, from the bread, to the salad, to the octopus and crab meat spaghetti. The food is amazing and the service is A+.
Baran's is always great. The service was excellent and the food was amazing. We always have dinner with just 4 or 5 starters. That gives us the opportunity to try different plates of food. We never leave hungry.
