absolutely loved this place. wow! for the price we paid, we have two large rooms that were a real tasty for four of us. the family and the people who drive this place were friendly and helpful. typical of family hotels in ancient Europe there was no elevator that warned so before. the man in the writing helped us with our luggage he didn't have to. lower line is not a big thing at all. the rooms were super beautiful, clean and well equipped. balcony from where I enjoyed a few late nights brewing and soaked it all in. walk away to all main sites in old freeburg. we never used our car. the breakfast was wonderful. well done. parking was a little away, so easy to warn, but again, well organized...
Ich habe für eine zwischen Übernachtung 1 Nacht hier verbracht. Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral. Der Bahnhof und mehrere Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind zu Fuß sehr schnell zu erreichen. Auch gibt es in unmittelbarer Nähe einige Restaurants. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich das Zimmer in meinem Fall ein Einzelzimmer) das ich bekommen habe Super. Kann ich wärmstens weiter empfehlen.
Tolles kleines familiäres Hotel an ausgezeichneter Lage. Sehr ruhige Seitenstrasse in der Altstadt von Freiburg. Nähe zum Bahnhof und den öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel. Sehenswürdigkeiten der Altstadt alles zu Fuss erreichbar. Sehr feines und reichhaltiges Frühstück. Freundlicher Empfang und ebenso herzlicher Abschied mit kleinem Präsent (Gläsli Kräutergewürz).
Wir waren jetzt zum zweiten Mal im Hotel Barbara und werden immer wieder kommen, wenn wir in Freiburg sind. Ganz tolles, familiäres Hotel, schöne, saubere Zimmer, liebevoll gerichtetes Frühstücksbuffet, freundliche Mitarbeiter, hervorragender Service. Dazu die ruhige Lage direkt in der Stadt. Jederzeit immer wieder gerne!

absolutely perfect location. 3 minutes to walk from and from the bus/station hbf and about the stone streets of the old city. very grateful for a multilingual staff. very clean, quiet and safe. I felt very safe to travel solo. the breakfast is very good and included in the price. wonderful and friendly service.
Ein voll sympathisches kleines Hotel, in dem ich mich sehr wohl gefühlt habe. Alle Mitarbeiter sind freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück ist stets mit viel Liebe hergerichtet. Optimale Lage zum Hbf, der Altstadt sowie zu meinem Seminar. Komme gerne wieder!
beautiful family hotel, great service, spacious modern rooms. they were very courteous of my little children and the room was very comfortable. great location to go to the city.
